It started with a mattress

Before LoadUp, Greg worked inside sales at one of the country's biggest waste companies, taking calls from people who just needed an old mattress gone. The waste companies wouldn't touch it. The junk franchises would, but only after quoting a price once the truck was already in the driveway.

So in 2014 Greg started LoadUp with one simple fix: show people the price before a truck ever shows up. Instead of buying a fleet, he built a network of independent, licensed and insured local haulers, which kept the price down without cutting corners. He was the very first Loader himself.

Appliances are the same problem, only heavier. A chest freezer has all the charm of a mattress and none of the bend. Appliance Disposal Plus is LoadUp pointed squarely at them.

Two things we'd rather say now than at your door

One of LoadUp's values is Live in Truth: call it like it is. So, for appliances:

  1. It has to be ready to roll

    Every appliance needs to be disconnected before pickup, including electrical, gas, and plumbing connections. Your Loaders pick up the unit once it is disconnected and ready to move.

  2. Fridges and freezers need a technician first

    Refrigerant must be removed by a certified technician before pickup. Your Loaders do not remove refrigerant and cannot take an appliance that still contains it.
