  • With 36% of homes in Monument built in 2010 or later, against 11% nationally, the question for a pickup is usually where the appliance sits rather than whether it fits: a garage, an upstairs laundry room or a second-floor kitchen. Mention it when you book so your Loaders arrive expecting the stairs.
  • 76% of homes in Monument are detached houses, so an old appliance tends to end up waiting in a garage, basement or utility room. That's fine: your Loaders carry it out from wherever it sits.

The Monument climate and your appliances

5BCold and dry

Monument FAQs

Booking appliance removal in Monument

Straight answers on price, timing and getting ready for a pickup in Monument, CO.

How much does appliance removal cost in Monument?

Appliance removal in Monument starts at $70 for a small appliance such as a microwave, and every appliance has its own starting price: a washing machine from $85, a refrigerator from $115. A second appliance on the same pickup adds only its add-on price, from +$15, because the service fee is charged once. You see the exact total for your Monument address before you book.

Can I get same-day appliance pickup in Monument?

Often, yes. Same-day pickups are available across the LoadUp network when you book before noon, and availability varies by location, so the booking window shows the times open for your Monument address. Same-day pickup adds $10. If you would rather plan ahead, you can book for the next day or up to 90 days out.

How do I book appliance removal in Monument?

Select Get Instant Price, choose the appliances going out, enter your Monument address and pick a pickup window. You see the exact price before anything is confirmed, and your Loaders arrive in the window you chose.

Will the Loaders come inside my Monument home, or do I leave it at the curb?

Either. With in-home pickup your Loaders carry the appliance out from wherever it sits in your Monument home, including basements, upstairs rooms and apartments. If it is already outside, curbside pickup saves $5 and you can skip the appointment.

Do you cover the rest of El Paso County?

Yes. Pickups are available in Monument and across El Paso County, and in nearby places such as Palmer Lake, Woodland Park and Colorado Springs. The LoadUp network covers all 50 states and Washington, DC.

What do I need to do before my Monument pickup?

Every appliance needs to be disconnected before pickup, including electrical, gas, and plumbing connections. Refrigerant must be removed by a certified technician before pickup. This applies only to refrigerators, freezers, wine fridges, ice machines, dehumidifiers and AC units. Clear a path from the appliance to the door, and if you live in an apartment building, check its rules for elevator bookings and move-out hours.
